Trainee Mobile Crane Operator

Ainscough Crane Hire is recruiting a trainee mobile crane operator for its Dundee team. The trainee starts as a slinger signaller, taking CPCS Slinger Signaller training soon after joining, then moves onto the trainee operator programme to learn crane set-up, duty charts, rated capacity indicators and safe operation on customer sites. A training agreement has to be signed before training is booked.

• Full HGV Class 2 (Class C) licence, essential
• Full driving licence and good knowledge of road traffic regulations
• Experience with large plant, HIAB or other lifting equipment is of particular interest
• No previous crane experience needed

Pay and benefits: fully funded CPCS Slinger Signaller and mobile crane training, 24 days' annual leave rising with service, life assurance of twice basic salary and a pension with 4% employer and 5% employee contributions.
