Field Service Engineer

SMT GB is hiring two field service engineers to cover Central Scotland. They service, maintain and repair Volvo Construction Equipment and associated machinery, diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults, install software updates, order parts and complete electronic job cards and timesheets. Call-outs and overtime are part of the role when needed.

• Engineering qualification in plant maintenance, agricultural engineering, HGV mechanics or similar (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)
• Proven experience repairing heavy construction plant, agricultural machinery or HGVs
• Diagnostic skills across diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, hydraulics and electrics
• Full UK driving licence
• Welding, fabrication and Volvo CE experience desirable
