Workshop Engineer

SMT GB is hiring a workshop engineer at Bruntingthorpe, Leicestershire, to service, maintain and repair Volvo Construction Equipment and other machinery. The engineer diagnoses mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults, completes repairs to quotation and agreed timescales, writes service inspection and oil sample reports, orders parts and installs software updates.

• Engineering qualification in plant maintenance, agricultural engineering, HGV mechanics or similar
• Experience repairing heavy construction plant
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, driveline systems and electronics
• Welding, fabrication and line boring experience desirable
• Unrestricted right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available
