Rigger

Mammoet is hiring riggers for its heavy lift and transport projects, working at its project site in Nigg with some travel. Riggers work in a mixed team on rigging, SPMT and jacking and skidding: assembling lifting gear to rigging plans, attaching loads with spreader beams, lifting beams and chain hoists, banking cranes by signal, and helping maintain Mammoet equipment. Riggers may also be needed at the Teesside or Hixon depots, and applicants from anywhere in the UK are considered.

• Red or blue CPCS card with relevant categories, such as slinger signaller
• Onshore rigging experience
• SPMT experience desirable
• Forklift, MEWP and safety passport tickets desirable
• Valid UK driving licence and willing to travel

Pay and benefits: £16.07 per hour depending on experience and tickets, plus overnight allowance and overtime rates, with on-target earnings up to £90k a year. Guaranteed ten hours a day, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, PPE and workwear, life assurance and company pension.
