Rigger (CPCS Qualified)

Mammoet is hiring CPCS-qualified riggers for heavy lift and transport projects, working from its headquarters in Thornaby with regular travel around the UK and occasional time at the Teesside and Hixon depots. Riggers work in a mixed team on rigging, SPMT and jacking and skidding: preparing auxiliary lifting equipment, securing loads and the work area, assembling lifting gear to rigging plans and guiding crane operators by signals and radio. The posts are permanent and not open to trainees.

• Red (with NVQ) or blue CPCS card with relevant categories, such as slinger signaller
• Onshore rigging experience
• SPMT experience desirable
• Forklift, MEWP and safety passport tickets desirable
• Valid UK driving licence

Pay and benefits: £16.07 to £19.00 per hour depending on experience and tickets, with on-target earnings of £55,000 to £95,000 a year including overtime and allowances.
