HGV Class 2 Sweeper Operative

Collins Transport, part of the Collins Earthworks group, is hiring an HGV Class 2 sweeper operative based at Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. The operative drives high-spec road sweepers on construction sites across the UK, sweeping, jet washing and gully cleaning, with daily vehicle checks and e-ticket paperwork. Hours are 40 to 60 a week, Monday to Friday plus weekend availability, and some working away is possible.

• HGV Class 2 licence
• Driver CPC with at least one year remaining
• No sweeper experience needed, as full training is given

Pay and benefits: hourly rate with time and a half after 8 hours and on Saturdays, double time on Sundays and nights, paid overnight allowance and evening food expenses when away, pension, 29 days' holiday including bank holidays, PPE, a yearly CPC course and FORS training.
