Yard Operative/Relief Driver

Chippindale Plant is hiring a yard operative and relief driver at its Huddersfield depot. The job is keeping the yard clean and organised, checking, refuelling and washing machines when they come off hire, moving machinery to and from the loading bays and using a forklift around the yard. When drivers are on holiday or off, the role covers relief driving of a 7.5 tonne wagon, delivering light plant to customers.

• Full driving licence
• Fit and healthy, as the work is outdoors in all weathers with a lot of manual labour
• Experience moving construction equipment or driving a forklift is useful

Pay and benefits: £30,000 to £31,000 a year.
