General Assistant

Speedy Hire is hiring a general assistant at its Grimsby depot. The job covers every part of the depot, working alone and with colleagues: deliveries and collections, loading and unloading vehicles, electrical testing of hire equipment, stock control and serving customers on the hire desk.

• Driving licence
• Basic computer skills
• Good spoken and written communication
• Able to adapt quickly to support others

Pay and benefits: £29,572 a year, pro rata; Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 17:00, 42 hours a week; 26 days' holiday plus bank holidays, life assurance, pension, canteen facilities, a voluntary health cash plan, and training and progression opportunities. Flexible hours and job shares will be considered.
