Workshop Technician

Manitou UK is recruiting a permanent workshop technician at Brixworth, Northampton, working as the depot service engineer and reporting to the service manager. The technician maintains, repairs and inspects telehandlers, forklifts and similar machines, works on new and used machinery in the yard, diagnoses customers' machines in the depot, provides LOLER and PUWER inspection certificates and helps the service department estimate repair costs and times. The post includes managing the workshop engineers and apprentice, and going out to support customers when needed.

• Competent with electrical and hydraulic systems
• Fault finding and diagnostics using a laptop
• NVQ Level 2 or above
• Up-to-date CSCS card
• Full clean driving licence
