CAP Engineer

GT Access, an independent powered access hire company, is recruiting CAP engineers for its Brentwood, Essex depot as it grows its fleet. The engineer services, inspects, diagnoses and repairs the company's powered access machines so they are safe and ready for hire, tracing electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and control system faults and carrying out LOLER and CAP inspections where qualified. Work follows manufacturer guidelines, with accurate service records, both alone and as part of the depot engineering team.

• Experience on powered access, plant, agricultural or similar machinery
• Strong electrical and hydraulic fault finding
• Full UK driving licence
• CAP certification, IPAF licence and LOLER examination experience desirable
• Familiarity with telematics and modern diagnostics desirable
