Plant Engineer

Thompsons of Prudhoe is hiring a plant engineer in the North East to maintain, service and repair wash plants and associated machinery used in aggregates, recycling and materials processing. The work covers mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding on pumps, screens, conveyors, cyclones, classifiers and dewatering systems, on-site breakdowns and planned preventive maintenance, working with site managers and plant operators.

• Proven wash plant experience in aggregates, recycling, quarrying or similar
• Strong mechanical knowledge
• Full UK driving licence
• Welding and fabrication skills an advantage
