Powered Access / MEWPS Engineer

AFI is hiring a powered access (MEWP) engineer at its Leeds depot to look after its fleet of rental machines. The work covers pre-delivery inspections, services, LOLER inspections, repairs and manufacturer updates, plus attending breakdowns on customer sites. Checks are logged on a company-issued PDA, and the engineer liaises with colleagues in engineering and the hire office so machines stay available.

• Engineering qualification, ideally in plant maintenance, at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent as a minimum
• Competence with electro-hydraulic systems
• Fault-finding and diagnostic experience
• Valid IPAF Operator licence
• A CAP licence is desirable
