Platform Access Engineer (CAP Qualified)

Access Hire Nationwide, part of Kelling Group and a provider of van-mounted MEWPs for hire and lease, is hiring a CAP-qualified platform access engineer at its Normanton depot in West Yorkshire. The workshop-based role covers pre-delivery inspections of vehicle-mounted platforms, fault finding, diagnosis and repair, and LOLER inspections to manufacturer guidelines. Jobs, labour time and parts are logged on a handheld tablet, and possible recharges or warranty repairs are passed to the service department.

• IPAF Competent Assessed Person (CAP) qualification
• Experience maintaining and inspecting mobile or vehicle-mounted platforms
• Relevant maintenance qualification and plant rental experience
• Auto electrics, hydraulics and diagnostics

Pay and benefits: £20 per hour (£46,800 a year), full time and permanent. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, birthday off, life insurance at 2.5 times salary, pension up to 5% and a healthcare cash plan.
