Plant Fitter (GPS Service)

Flannery Plant Hire is hiring a plant fitter at Birmingham and Leighton Buzzard to install, service and calibrate digital systems on construction plant. The work covers GPS machine control on excavators, dozers and graders and Human Form Recognition (HFR) safety systems, including fitting sensors and antennas, wiring, calibration, uploading DTM files and checking off-hired plant. Full training in machine control and HFR technology is provided, with a laptop and phone supplied where needed.

• Experience with construction plant, agricultural machinery or heavy equipment
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical installations
• Comfortable with computers and electronic equipment
• A mechanical technician or workshop engineer background and a full UK driving licence are desirable
