Mobile Plant Fitter/Mechanic (GPS Machine Control)

Flannery Plant Hire is hiring a mobile plant fitter/mechanic with GPS machine control experience, listed at Aberdeen and Glasgow and working in the field across the UK. The role covers servicing, inspecting and repairing excavators, dozers, graders and other heavy plant, and installing, calibrating and fault-finding GPS machine control systems at customer sites, depots and projects. Occasional overnight stays may be needed.

• Background as a mobile plant fitter, mechanic, agricultural engineer or heavy vehicle technician
• Experience installing, calibrating or fault-finding GPS machine control systems
• Able to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation
• Full UK driving licence
• Trimble, Topcon or Leica experience and CSCS, CPCS or IPAF cards are desirable
