Mobile PDI Engineer

Holt JCB, the JCB dealer for South West England and South Wales, is hiring mobile PDI engineers to give JCB machines their final check before they reach customers. The work covers full pre-delivery inspections and hot testing, checking fluids, electrics, controls and attachments, matching each machine against the customer's order and specification, and valeting it inside and out. The role is mobile across the region with a company vehicle; engineers are centrally managed and organise their own workload.

• Strong mechanical and practical understanding of plant
• Confident carrying out operational and functional machine checks
• Methodical, with close attention to detail
• Construction, agricultural or plant experience an advantage
• Full UK driving licence
