Mobile Fitter

Torrent Trackside, the Vp plc business that supplies portable plant and trackside services to the rail industry, is hiring a mobile fitter to cover Perth and the surrounding area. The fitter services, maintains and repairs company and customer equipment at customer premises, working alone or with others, keeps the van stocked with parts and completes the paperwork. It is a permanent, full-time field role of 40 hours a week.

• Time-served, qualified plant fitter or mechanic
• Full UK driving licence
• Working knowledge of small plant engines (2-stroke and 4-stroke petrol, diesel), 12V electrical systems and battery-powered tools
• Able to plan your own workload
• Must pass a rail-standard drug and alcohol medical and PTS training, both arranged by the company
