Heavy Plant Fitter (Workshop)

Tru7 Group, based at Kesgrave near Ipswich, is hiring a heavy plant fitter for workshop and maintenance work on its fleet. The fitter services, maintains, diagnoses and repairs the machines, including ADTs, excavators, telehandlers, dozers, rollers, screeners and crushers, tracing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults with diagnostic equipment. The role also covers breakdowns when needed, keeping service and defect records, and supporting the wider engineering team.

• Experience as a plant fitter, plant technician, agricultural engineer, HGV or vehicle technician or similar
• Mechanical fault-finding plus knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Heavy plant, construction or agricultural machinery experience is highly desirable
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in plant maintenance, agricultural engineering or similar is desirable
• Own tools (essential); full UK driving licence preferred
