Field Service Engineer

Sunbelt Rentals UK is hiring a workshop-based engineer in Solihull for its Power business, maintaining, repairing and preparing critical power equipment. The kit includes loadbanks, generators, battery energy storage units, UPS units, transformers, power distribution units and cables. The engineer carries out planned maintenance, diagnostics and repairs, tests equipment before dispatch, completes job cards and test certificates, and supports the field service team remotely.

• Experience as a service or workshop engineer in power generation, critical power or a related electrical field
• Strong electrical background, able to read schematics and fault-find on three-phase systems
• Competent with electrical test equipment
• Full driving licence
• Electrical qualification, 18th Edition or 2391, and a forklift licence desirable
