Field Service Engineer

Holt JCB, the family-owned JCB dealer for South West England and South Wales, is hiring a field service engineer at its Exeter depot. The engineer services, repairs and maintains JCB and other plant to manufacturer specifications, diagnosing electrical, hydraulic and powertrain faults with JCB's Service Master software on a laptop (training given) and reporting each job, with photos, on a company tablet. Engineers also order parts, complete risk assessments and earn a reward for extra work they identify.

• City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Experience with construction plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics and transmissions
• Fault finding with electronic diagnostic equipment
• Full driving licence, and able to operate machines on site for testing (training available)
