Excavator Operator

Select Plant Hire, part of the Laing O'Rourke Group, is hiring excavator operators for project sites across the UK. The work is on 360 and 180 excavators, wheeled or tracked, digging, trenching, grading, lifting and loading, along with pre-start checks, daily walk-arounds, basic maintenance and timesheets. Operators need to be willing to travel regionally and nationally.

• Valid CPCS or NPORS card for the relevant excavator category
• CSCS card where required
• Proven excavator experience in construction or civil engineering
• Knowledge of safe digging, service avoidance and lifting operations
• Full UK driving licence and lifting operations experience desirable
